The 72 Crew concept is all about citizen preparedness.  Surviving an emergency, whether man-made or natural, often depends on how prepared one is.  This is true for businesses, families, and communities as a whole. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Red Cross and FEMA, being able to make it on one’s own for at least 72 hours after a disaster can be the difference between surviving or not.

We can be our own best first responders -- if we learn what to expect, know what to do, and have the supplies on hand to outlast the danger period or wait for help. EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO PREPARE.  It just makes good sense. Furthermore, we honor the efforts of our first responders by readying ourselves.  That makes good sense, too.

The 72 Crew PLAN

72 Crew Partners sponsor 8 ½″ x 11″ What to Do for the First 72 memo boards to be distributed at their places of business.  Memo boards have staying power.  They are immediately put on the front or side of the refrigerator and will be seen an average of seven times a day by every family member.  The board has been designed with ample space for leaving notes or making lists or jotting ideas, so it has functionality beyond the aspect of bringing safety preparedness to top-of-mind awareness.

The memo board carries the 72 Crew message about being prepared and able to self-sufficiently cope for the first 72 hours after a disaster.  Remember, it is likely that first responders will be involved taking care of the emergency; we can relieve some of their burden by taking care of ourselves.

The Know What to Do for the First 72 memo boards are free to individuals.  However, it is impossible to get boards onto every refrigerator in any community without help.  As an individual, you are welcome to purchase boards for your church, neighbors, etc.

Your city, town, homeowners association, or any other group can request the boards in the number required to cover an area or community.  Do so by emailing us at info@72crew.com.  We will email or fax you the “Requester” form, then work with the business community to fulfill your request as quickly as possible. As soon as the Know What to Do for the First 72 boards are delivered, the requesting community will be 72 Crew Certified.

As a business
You can become a partner at whatever level suits your budget. You can distribute the 72 Crew memo boards to your customers or provide them for distribution by community groups, non-profits or at special events. Your business name will be on each board.

As a homeowners association or management company
